WarrantyWe proudly stand behind our products and will repair/replace any problem resulting from a production or design flaw within 6 months of purchase for Full CNC machined products and 30 days for Forged Shifters and Forged Brake Pedals. All Hammerhead products are also covered by an additional exclusive warranty that provides for replacement of any Hammerhead product that becomes damaged or destroyed (under any circumstances) within 6 months of purchase at a 50% discount. Parts covered under warranty must be returned complete, with all parts and with original receipt showing retail purchase from an authorized dealer. Warranty replacements will be provided for like products only (no changes in model or type). Hammerhead Designs, Inc. reserves the right to replace warranty returns with products from our ‘scratch and dent’ inventory (parts that are mechanically sound but may have a minor cosmetic flaw). Hammerhead is not responsible for Dealers or other resellers providing inaccurate fitment or product information. All warranty returns must include a return authorization number with a completed Warranty/ Return Form. No warranties will be processed without a return authorization number and completed Warranty/ Return Form. To obtain a return authorization number and Warranty/ Return Form, call 650-365-3172. Warranty/ Return Form is also available in printable format online at HDmoto.com. Modified or altered parts are not covered under warranty. Brake products used without Brake Snake are not covered under warranty since the brake snake is required to protect the brake pedal. Shift Lever broached spline is not covered by this warranty because Hammerhead Designs, Inc. has no control over customer maintenance of shifter bolt torque and an improperly maintained bolt that comes loose may result in spline damage. Use of thread lock on the pinch bolt (or mounting bolt for KTM) on Shift Levers is highly discouraged and voids any warranty on the Shift Lever product. Proper torque must be maintained (and checked regularly) and the use of waterproof grease is the best way to obtain proper torque.
Warranty/ Return process
All warranties and returns must be processed directly to Hammerhead Designs, Inc. Dealers and Distributors should refer customers to make returns directly to Hammerhead Designs, Inc. This will provide the fastest and most efficient warranty/ return process. Returns will not be accepted from Dealers or Distributors.ShippingWarranty and return shipping costs for products sent to Hammerhead Designs, Inc. are paid by the customer. Hammerhead Designs, Inc. will pay shipping costs for defective products covered by warranty for shipment back to customer only (excluding expedited shipping or shipping outside the continental US). Hammerhead Designs, Inc. will not pay for shipping of products back to customer that are not covered by warranty or for products that were returned without a completed and signed Warranty/ Return Form and RA number.
